Interfaith Students
(2005-10-07) Our first fall meeting was on Thursday and
we had a great turn-out! We kicked around ideas about themes for
discussions and activities this year. So far, we are brainstorming
about such topics as Women in Religion, Life Cycles in Faith Traditions,
Visits to Congregations in our Community such as the Korean Methodist
Church, Eastern Orthodox Church, the Vedanta Center and the Hillel
Student Organization. We are also excited about having a Pizza Social
and a Religious-Food-Fest! Other topics we plan to explore include
Variations Among Similar Faith Traditions, Religious Approaches
to Sexuality, Gender and Social Issues, Current Events, and more.
