The purpose of the University Religious Center of Santa Barbara is to promote interfaith understanding and cooperation at the University of California at Santa Barbara and in Isla Vista.

We recognize a rich diversity of religious expression while serving as companions and advisors to students, faculty, staff, and Isla Vista residents in their journeys of faith. Through these relationships, we encourage dialogue and action concerning contemporary ethical issues as we strive for a just society.
